The 10th Annual In Step For Autism 3K Walk/5K Run and Family Field Day - Colt State Park, Bristol, RI
Sunday, September 30, 2012
Join us on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Colt State Park in Bristol, R.I. for The 10th Annual In Step For Autism 3K Walk/5K Run and Family Field Day.
You can help make a difference in the lives of children and adults with autism and related developmental disabilities. The Groden Network, “Your Autism Experts,” in conjunction with the Rhode Island Chapter of the Autism Society of America (ASA-RI), will host the 8th annual “In Step for Autism” 3K Walk/5K Run and Family Field Day at Colt State Park in Bristol, R.I., and back by popular demand, this year’s In Step for Autism will include a 5K run for area runners. Over 800 people are expected to participate.
The Groden Network and ASA-RI are asking for your help in raising money during this difficult financial climate. Never before has a 3.1-mile run and a 1.8-mile walk on a brisk autumn day meant so much to so many families in Rhode Island. Now more than ever, the Groden Network needs your assistance in helping those who cannot help themselves.
The event will go on as planned, rain or shine. Registration will begin at 10 a.m., with a start time scheduled for 11 a.m. For more information on the event, or to sign up for this year’s walk, contact The Groden Network’s Development Office at 401-274-6310, ext. 1266.
Learn how you can create a fundraising page for the walk by visiting http://www.firstgiving.com/asari-groden.
