Vocational Programs — The Ladle
Located in the heart of the Cove Center in Providence, "The Ladle" serves as a training site for adults who aspire to become well versed in the ways of the food industry.
At The Ladle, adults with autism and related developmental disabilities build their customer relations skills and learn more about nutrition, food shopping, recipes and cooking. The Ladle is a full service cafeteria with a daily menu and a wide array of breakfast and lunch options. Under the tutelage of Ladle Supervisor Ray Laliberte, individuals trained at The Ladle soon become experts in the food industry and are ready for entry-level jobs in the field.
