Chief Clinical Officer

The Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) will guide and engage The Groden Network’s (The Network) clinical staff, champion quality, foster clinical effectiveness, and advance a culture of excellence. This position will be responsible for clinical oversight, evaluating all clinical services for consistency with best practices, providing research oversight, and serving as the clinical voice for the Network. The CCO works in collaboration with Network employees and key stakeholders to strengthen and unify a cohesive, integrated clinical services department that achieves clinical excellence and quality outcomes. The CCO will be responsible for ensuring high standards of practice through development of policies, protocols, practice guidelines, and discipline metrics. Leads daily operations, executes the operational and strategic plan for the clinical department, identifies and responds to changes in funding and revenue streams, generates ideas, and leads performance improvement initiatives that enhances the quality of clinical services provided to persons served and family members.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. preferred; Master's degree in psychology, early childhood education, special education or related human service field (or comparable experience).
Maintain licensure in RI and MA as a clinical psychologist and BCBA and extensive knowledge of learning and behavioral principles.
Seven to 10 years of experience with children and/or adults with IDD/DD and/or behavior disorders.
Five years of experience supervising staff with proven management skills.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide clinical care to individuals with intellectual disabilities with consideration of child and adult aging processes, human development stages, and cultural patterns in each step of the clinical care process.
Demonstrated supervisory or leadership abilities; ability to serve as a role model and mentor to staff; excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with all staff as well as persons served and families.
