Medical Appointment Coordinator
The Medical Appointment Coordinator is responsible to schedule and attend appointments for clients receiving residential services from The Groden Center, ensure all necessary documentation is complete prior to appointments, collaborate with day and residential programs to coordinate transportation for appointments, complete administrative work related to health and wellness of the residential clients. Must have a valid drivers license, insured vehicle and a good driving record.Qualifications:
BA preferred; degree in psychology, early childhood education, special education, or related human service field (or comparable level of experience and/or education.
Two to Four years of experience with children and/or adults with IDD/DD and/or behavior disorders.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide excellent care to children and intellectual disabilities with consideration of child and adult aging processes, human development stages, and cultural patterns in each step of the clinical care process.
