Intake Evaluator/Behavior Specialist

Work with a dynamic treatment team for the newest students at the Groden center. This position is specific to the staffing and evaluation of new students to the program. Working under the Intake Supervisor, determine appropriate behavioral, motivational, educational assessments, surveys, and the use of curriculum materials. implementation and monitoring of student's individual instructive programs; assistance in the preparation of students' individual programs; working with families, residential program staff, employers and students' co-workers at community sites, representing the Center in a positive professional manner; and be available to conduct intake evaluations at both Groden North (Providence) and South (Coventry)

Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written skills(e.g., detailed reports will be required).
Bachelor's degree required in psychology, special education, or related social science field. Volunteer, intern, student teaching, or employed experience (one year) with individuals who have developmental disabilities and/or behavior disorders. Be of good character. be able to work independently and as a team member.
