Bio

Dr. Shindorf earned his Ph.D. in school psychology from the University of Montana in 2019. Dr. Shindorf completed his residency at Boys Town with the Nebraska Consortium of Professional Psychology, and his postdoctoral fellowship was completed at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Prior to his tenure at the Groden Network, Dr. Shindorf was the psychologist for the CADD Partial Hospitalization Program and CADD Safequest program at Bradley Hospital.

Treatment Approach: Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) -informed treatments; motivational interviewing, behavioral techniques, social skills training, and person-centered therapy.

Clientele: Child, adolescent, young adult, family, group, and parents/caregivers.

Areas of specialty: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Suicidality, Trauma- informed care, Emotion Regulation/Distress Tolerance, adjustment challenges, as well as opposition & defiance.
