Founded in 1980 by baseball great Joe Trimble and his wife Jennie, in honor of their son John, who was one of The Groden Center’s first clients. For 42 years, all profits from the day have gone directly to provide internal grants for client activities and programs. Proceeds from last year’s event were used to purchase things like exercise equipment, a karaoke machine, dance lessons, a customized sensory wall in The Cove Center created by our partners at Riverzedge Arts, and plenty of events to build social skills.
