Founded in 1993, the Groden Center Treatment Foster Care Program (TFC) is based on the idea that human beings thrive in compassionate, supportive environments with strong relationships, access to healthy food, and stability. We work with children and youth from newborns to 22 years old to match them with licensed treatment foster homes across Rhode Island where they will receive the nurturing, care, and safety they deserve.
Our caring team of specialists provides more than mere placement services. We work to create individualized treatment plans to help every child develop, grow, and flourish while creating strong community connections.
We also understand the challenges that treatment care can place on foster parents. We offer 365/24/7 support and services, specialized training, and supervision to help meet critical treatment goals and create an environment in which they feel safe, protected, and cared for. Our foster parents are part of the TFC team, and we’re proud to walk every step of the path with you.
Meet the TFC Team!
Colleen joined the Groden team 17 years ago. In her role as a clinical case manager, Colleen has supported many children in adjusting to their foster homes, and in reaching their full potential.
You’re passionate about giving children a happy, healthy, loving home. The TFC program is a perfect fit! We’ve matched foster children with foster parents for over 27 years, and we remain deeply committed to helping both children and parents grow and flourish.
We also support our parents 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year. We’re always here for you and your foster child. Our team of specialists includes licensed and master’s level clinicians with decades of experience working with children, youth, and adults with special needs. We work with you throughout the licensing process to ensure a smooth, easy integration.
When you become part of the TFC team, you join a caring, supportive family that believes in helping one another grow. It truly does take a village, and our program is built on partnership and collaboration.
